Tsar house story and its owners, gorgeous interior, beautiful view from the window on the embankment of the Neva River and Peter and Paul Fortress, great location in the very city center (near the Hermitage) - all this makes Palace of Grand Duke ideal place for the farewell dinner. 

Great Russian and European cuisine, palace interiors and atmosphere, skills of cooks and staff will leave the best impression about the gala dinner.

       Participants of Symposium EMBS-49 have a great opportunity  - to explore the Palace of Grand Duke Vladimir.
       Excursion will be held in English by experienced guides.

       The palace was built in the years 1864-1872 by architect A. Rezanov for the Grand Duke Vladimir, son of the
       Emperor Alexander II and brother of the Emperor Alexander III, near to the Hermitage complex of buildings, which was the imperial residence.
       The front rooms of the palace do not have a unified stylistic. Here you can see the Renaissance, Rococo, Moorish style, etc.
       During the tour you will see the ceremonial palace interiors : Malinovy living room, Oak cabinet , White or Ball hall and Cabinet of Grand Duke Vladimir
